Quality management
At FAU, a quality management system is in place since 2009 to support the degree programmes in the process of continuous development and compliance with the various external requirements. Within the framework of this quality management system, the degree programmes get accredited by the Accreditation Council, following the successful system accreditation of the FAU in 2016, while adhering to the relevant provisions of the Accreditation Council, the Conference of Ministers of Culture and the University Rector’s Conference (HRK).
When designing the quality management system, FAU underlines its character as a full university and places great emphasis on decentralized organization. The so called “4×4 model” interlinks the four levels (university, faculty, study course and module) with the four quality dimensions (quality of policy and culture, quality of structure, process, and results).
