Studying at the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Theology
At the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Theology, students and perspective students choose within a unique spectrum of subjects in the humanities and social sciences. Students are offered an enormous range of freely selectable combinations and individual study possibilities with four one-subject and 29 two-subject Bachelor’s degree programmes, 36 Master’s degree programmes, including three Master’s degree programmes for working professionals, and 21 teaching degree programmes for the German school types Grundschule, Mittelschule, Realschule, and Gymnasium.
A large number of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes can be studied part time, or even partly part time, partly full time. The faculty therefore enables its students to design their studies according to their individual life situation.
