To avoid spreading of the corona virus all university libraries have been closed. As this might handicap students to write their term paper the Faculty decided to extend the deadlines by five weeks.

At least two different groups of Neanderthals lived in Southern Siberia and an international team of researchers including scientists from FAU have now proven that one of these groups migrated from Eastern Europe. The researchers have now published their findings in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS).

The interdisciplinary project is concerned with America’s post-war re-education politics in Germany and Japan, with which the Allies intended to separate the population from fascist thought and encourage democratic awareness, as well as with the developments in the three countries after the war.
